THIS SITE WAS DEVELOPED A FEW YEARS AGO... I HAVE DECIDED NOT TO CHANGE CERTAIN INFORMATION (AGE ETC.,) AS IT BEARS NO RELEVANCE TO THE CONTENTS AND CONTEXT OF THIS SITE.    THANKS FOR VIEWING.

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time and for showing an interest in my site.

Throughout the followng pages, I have added snippets from my collection of poetry.  Some dark but enpowering, some light hearted, some just my thoughts along with a peak into my art collection, but before continuing, let me introduce myself to you........

I am a 30-something woman (it is highly inproper to ask a lady her age) who emigrated to the U.S approximately 14 years ago as a teenager in search of adventure and a change of experience.  My life in Scotland was duplistic.  I was a studious child with a talent for distracting others through my unorthodox appearance at school.  Goth, punk, hippie, biker, you name it, I adopted the style.  Although I saw myself as a deep thinker with a penchant for the darker side, I believe in retrospect that I was a fully normal teenager with delusions of grandeur!
My home life was stable, happy and comfortable, my circle of friends were somewhat fiendish if not psychotic!  My happiest moments were spent in graveyards or in the dank projects of Glasgow where I would people watch and learn what struggle did to the soul and personality.
An almost deadly end to a dead-beat relationship at the tender age of 19 brought me to realize that my constant dream to fly on my own wings and leave Scotland must come to fruition.  Everything in life happens for a purpose and we must not make the same mistakes twice etc., etc.,
Cliches aside, this period in my life brought out a passion for me to share my story in an ambiguous and empowering way.  I, through my writing, would help victims of violence realize that they are not alone and that there is self empowerment after your power has been stolen.  I quickly wrote some poetry and flew to the States......
Many lifetimes later, I am happy, deeply in love with my husband and am the proudest mother on Earth.  Financially strapped, like everyone else on Earth, and completely unable to string 3 words together in a way that would move anyone!  I guess the greatest art comes from the greatest sorrow....

To draw this insight into my life to a close, I would like to invite you to share a piece of my history and, should you be so inclined, please send this site to a friend who may need a little elbow in the right direction....
